For Aaliyah Alicia Thompson autism is her diagnosis, but it certainly doesn’t define her. With the loving support of family and a fierce determination to be an example for others with an autism diagnosis, Thompson has forged a path that she hopes will inspire. In 2022, the then 21-year-old opened her own beauty bar in Stockbridge, GA, just outside of Atlanta, defying misconceptions about what’s possible for anyone with a neurodivergent diagnosis.
